Role 4: Entertainment Specialist

 Lenape Storytelling

Your Role in the Group:
As the Entertainment Specialist for your group, it is your job to research the stories (oral traditions), fun, and games of the Lenape. As you research, you should record the answers you find on your graphic organizer.

1.     What are oral histories or traditions (storytelling)? How was this important to Lenape culture?

2.     What did the Lenape do for fun?

3.     What games and sports did the Lenape play?

**How is the Lenape's entertainment different today than it was hundreds of years ago?
