As part of our Young Consumer’s program, 4th grade students will be visiting Shop Rite. Chaperones are needed to help with the trips. We need your help in order to make this trip happen.

PARCC Information
There will be an informational night for parents about the PARCC test on Monday, February 23rd at 6:30pm in the DIS gym. The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with information about the new state testing. We will discuss the testing schedule, topics covered, background information, test navigation, and answer any of your questions or concerns.
Testing Dates:
- 5th Grade- March 2nd-6th
- 4th Grade- March 9th-13th
- 3rd Grade- March 16th-20th

Pennies for Patients
We are so very proud of the students for reaching their second goal during our Pennies for Patients campaign. Friday will be a school-wide pajama day as a result of their efforts. Please continue to collect those pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and dollar bills over the next week. Encourage students to use their Chore Chart to help earn money. In addition to our regular collection, we will be holding a special hat day on Thursday. Anyone donating $1 will be permitted to wear a hat in school. Individuals wishing to write checks should make them payable to "The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society".

The Kids Rule the School Box Top contest is ending shortly. Students should label any box tops collected with their first and last name. Don’t forget to send in your BoxTops.
The PTA is proud to present the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to Hershey Park. These tickets may be used on any regular operating day during the 2015 season. Enjoy savings of almost 40% off regular gate admission as well as free admission to both ZooAmerica (when entered from Hershey Park) and Hershey’s Chocolate World (with a hand stamp from Hershey Park). A flyer about ordering discounted tickets was sent home with your student and is located on the virtual backpack. Orders are being accepted until March 16th.
